Brazen Design Lock and Key Lariat Necklace.
This necklace can be born in a variety of ways. It is a lariat, which means that the wearer inserts the key through the keyhole to "lock" it on. You can have the key dangle far down from the keyhole or have them clustered together.
The key and keyhole are both handcardved and cast in sterling silver. Both are about 1.75" long.
The chain is 30" long and made of sterling silver. Can be shortened! Just include your desired length in the Message from Buyer.
As shown, one size fits all... choose medium.
This product is hand made to order by the designer from 100% sterling silver, the standard for fine jewelery. Sterling silver is made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, to give it strength. The designer chooses not to use fine silver (99.9%) because it is generally very soft and therefore not as durable. Other advantages to sterling silver are that it is less reactive and more hypoallergenic, making it a safe and long-lasting choice.
