The idea behind the store was to create an environment where a store setting could take Canadian culture and apply it to the fashion forward individual of today. Mudshark started out by collecting as many Canadian made clothing labels that would appeal to the sophisticated taste of hard to please fashion enthusiasts of Toronto and surrounding area. The labels that were introduced formed the backbone to the largest supplier of Canadian made streetwear in Ontario, now stocking rack after rack of innovative and detailed underground streetwear. Mudshark currently supports over 30 different Canadian manufacturers downscaling big business into a culture shock for the new millennium. 2004 brought some new American labels into the store, with expansion in mind for more labels. 2005 saw the complete transformation of Mudshark into a 7 year running established online retail operation.
