Mudshark Streetwear, opened for business in May of 1997. The company retails Independent fashion with a focus on Canadian fashion, independent designers, eco-fashion, urban, and sustainable clothing.

The idea behind the store was to create an environment where an online store setting could take Canadian culture and apply it to the fashion forward individual of today. Mudshark Streetwear started out by collecting as many Canadian made clothing labels that would appeal to the sophisticated taste of hard to please fashion enthusiasts. The labels that were introduced formed the backbone to the largest suppliers of one stop shopping for Independent Canadian fashion, stocking rack after rack of innovative and quality independent designer fashion and streetwear. Mudshark currently supports over 30 different Independent Canadian designers, down scaling big business into a culture shock. Montreal fashion designers include Kitchen Orange, Bodybag by Jude, Eve Gravel Design, and Valerie Dumaine. Toronto fashion designers include Revolve Clothing, Tryd and True, Scandalhouse Designs, Namoda, Greenbaum, and Hipline by Eve Kinizo. British Columbia fashion designers include Lily and Jae, Dace, Allison Wonderland, Elroy Apparel, and more.

Mudshark Streetwear is an established 12 year running online retail boutique and provides fair trade clothing for their Independent Designers.

Mudshark Streetwear also distributes wholesale Canadian fashion to selected boutiques. Ask a store near you to carry one of your favorite Canadian designers. The designers would be happy you shared. It's no secret that Canadian fashion is hot! And through supporting these Independent designers, you can feel good about the clothes you are in. Many of our designers are now using eco-friendly fabrics, and even donating portions of clothing sales to charitable organizations in support of the environment.
